THAAS CHIPS: it’s YOUR chip!

 

This is the story of two brothers, David and Manu, who grow potatoes on plots of land in the Marne region, in the village of THAAS (pronounced “ta,” not “tass”!).

Curious about what their potatoes could become, they one day decided to make their own chips — a way to offer a local and flavorful product.

As for the brand name? It was an easy choice for these brothers who certainly don’t take themselves too seriously!

From producer to consumer

THAAS CHIPS works without any middlemen, handling the entire production process, from planting the potato to packing the chips. Everything is fully managed in-house: growing, harvesting, processing, and distribution. A key point: the carbon footprint from transporting the potatoes is significantly reduced!

In the interest of transparency with consumers, David and Manu are committed to following a specific set of standards for their potato production (Global G.A.P. certification and High Environmental Value (HEV) certification, level 3).

THAAS CHIPS is a brand with strong values that aims to refresh the world of chips. We offer packaging tailored to each type of sales point to match the consumer's mindset.

Moreover, we enjoy playing with our identity based on events or seasonality, being active on social media, and creating a real community around our “Chipette.”

 

 

But who is Chipette?

Chipette is the iconic mascot of Thaas Chips. She appears on all our packaging, with her unique personality. She embodies the friendly spirit of our brand and accompanies us on all our adventures, adding a touch of humor and fun to each of her appearances.
